What those we have served, have said about us….. For the past thirty years we have subscribed to an independent, quality assurance survey provided by the Illinois Funeral Director's Association. Those surveys, in addition to many unsolicited cards and letters, have mirrored comments received since Conley Funeral Home was founded in 1922. Those printed below, were taken from among several hundred such letters and surveys over the last decade. All of them are available for your review. In general, over 99% of all those responding would recommend Conley Funeral Home and felt that they received a fair to exceptional value for the price they paid. The following quotes illustrate characteristic comments regarding service, compassion, professionalism and price. You did an excellent job in helping us make decisions, there was never any rush. It was like you understood our sorrow and loss... (Daughter in her 20's making arrangements for her mother) Thank you a million times over for your every kindness shown us in such a difficult time. I so much appreciated your home and being able to have mom there. Your staff is exceptional and your special touches are so nice. Those are rare in today's world. (daughter following the death of her mother) Received your "Thinking of you" note... Your contacts have not only been a pleasant surprise, they have been so very much appreciated. (Daughter, some six months after her mother's death) Thank you for making us feel so comfortable. Everyone will have a wonderful memory of celebrating dad's life. Everything went so well, we cannot thank you enough for all your hard work. (Son after the unexpected death of his father) I'm over sixty years old and have never seen such care extended by a funeral director, much less staff! You were so wonderful and caring through this whole tragedy... (grandparent of a young man who died tragically) I will never forget the way you explained things to the children...it was good for all of us to hear. (aunt who attended our children's hour before the visitation) From beginning to end, everything was so organized, so personal...you made a very difficult time easier for us. We'll never forget you... Your patience and kindness, your preparation of (our son) were very much appreicated….thank you for meeting our every need, (even the needs we were unaware of) and honoring our every request... Sensitivity to the needs of the family was exceptional ... mediation between family faiths was superb. The service we received went above and beyond the price we paid. (director) was great with my kids, arranged for memory bears for my kids, taped the service and saved a lock of my husband's hair.. he helped make things easy instead of stressful. He didn't rush me... I would like to express how wonderful the Conley Funeral Home was in helping us through this trying time. The aftercare calls and thoughts and the one to one ...make them just amazing. Words cannot express our gratitude. From your greeters to the food, to the men that started the cars on Tuesday morning. You are an unbelievable God-send at a time of need... Very competitive. I received more than I paid for. We were impressed by the warmth and comfort felt while in your beautiful, homelike surroundings. It was a beautiful place to say goodbye to a beautiful lady. Your staff was most courteous and caring. I'd like to thank (director) for the gentle way he helped all the children in our neighborhood cope with their feelings of grief and confusion. All the time he took to explain even the smallest details really made a difference to all those children... I also received many compliments on your presentation at the cemetery. No one I spoke with had ever seen such a touching funeral and burial. You handled everything so flawlessly and with such great compassion, everyone was deeply touched by your words and actions. Thank you very much for the caring attentiveness with which you've followed our loss over this past year. You're truly wonderful people who bring real heart and understanding to your life's work and we're deeply grateful. We can't begin to express our gratitude…(child's name) life on earth was so short...you helped two very lost parents through the hardest thing we've ever had to do. (to staff member) your sweet words, soft shoulder and open ears meant so much. Our (child's name) looked at peace in your home and those are images I will cherish for the rest of my life. From the bunnies to the blanket and outfit to the wonderful basket she laid in...thank you. He explained everything, we made the choices - very supportive of our suggestions. |
