NAME
ZACHARY M. BINGHAM, age 18, of Maple Park, IL,
died tragically, in the early morning hours of
Sunday, December 2, 2012.
BORN:
He was born January 11, 1994, in Hinsdale, IL,
the son of Michael D. and Donna J. Bingham.
EARLY YEARS:
Zach grew up in Maple Park and attended Kaneland
Elementary School. He participated in many
different sports, including, football and
baseball. Zach enjoyed welding in high school and
looked forward to attending Elgin Community
College where he hoped to turn his passion into a
career. He graduated from Kaneland High School
this summer with the class of 2012.
OCCUPATION / WORK HISTORY:
Zach was an emerging “jack of all trades” having
worked anywhere he could to make a dollar or two.
From working at Bob-Jo Speedway, delivering pizza,
he also was a laborer and one time telemarketer
as well.
LIFE NOTES:
Zach was one of those all around “great guys”. He
could cheer you up if you were feeling blue and
then keeping you laughing with a joke or two. Zach
loved so many kinds of music, he not only couldn’t
pick his favorite band, he couldn’t even pick a
genre! When he was younger, Zach enjoyed the
outdoors, going fishing with his dad and grandpa,
collecting turkey feathers, building deer stands
and learning from his father how to track them. He
could stand for hours by the field just waiting
for the chance to ask the local farmer if he could
help bale hay and no winter was complete without
crazy trips on a sled down the hills at Johnson’s
Mound. In later years, Zach loved to go tubing
with friends on the Rock River, water parks and
stalking friends in the woods while playing
paintball. If it had wheels or skiis, from dirt
bikes to quads to snowmobiles, Zach loved to drive
it. Above all, Zach was the pride and joy of his
parents and grandparents and made them all proud.
Though he was taken too soon, the impact he made
on the lives of family and friends alike, will
never be forgotten.
SURVIVORS:
He is survived by his parents, Mike and Dee Dee
Bingham;
His paternal grandfather, Roland (Delores Lewan)
Bingham;
His paternal grandmother, Esther (Sam) Bova;
A maternal grandmother, Marilynn Meyer;
Several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
PRECEDED:
He is preceded in death by his maternal
grandfather, William Meyer, his maternal
grandmother, Marion Meyer and his best four legged
friend, Lucy.
