Diane Lynne Burkhart, age 70, of Elburn, IL, formerly of West Branch, MI, passed away surrounded by the love and prayers of her family at home, Friday evening, April 29, 2016.
She was born June 9, 1945, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Clyde and Doris (Phelps) Dennis.
She is survived by seven children: Al (Tammy) Burkhart, Denise (Al) Provost, Cheryl (Kevin) Liebetreu, Carla (Doug) Kile, Bill (Lisa) Burkhart, Carmen (Mike) Dewald and John Burkhart; 19 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Carlton Burkhart.
The family requests that no flowers be sent, rather donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, at www.woundedwarriorproject.org. Tributes may be forwarded to the Conley Funeral Home Facebook Page or on www.conleycare.com.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m., with a mass to follow at 3p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Virgil, IL.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at the Christian Memorial Cultural Center in Rochester, MI.
