FRANK T. MIKLOS of Manitowish Waters, WI passed away unexpectedly, Jan 6, 2004 when he was stricken with a fatal heart attack at his home. He was born September 24, 1942 in Chicago, IL, the son of Frank and Eleanor (Michalek) Miklos. Frank grew up in the Chicago area and following graduation from high school, joined the U.S. Air Force. He served his country for eight years as an aircraft mechanic during the Viet Nam War. Returning home, he put his Air Force experience to work for American Airlines and studied for a business degree at Purdue University. MARRIEDFrank had a gregarious personality and a wide range of skills that took his career in many directions through the years. In the early seventies, he opened his own Marathon Gas Station in Glendale Heights, IL. In 1976, he sold the station and began working as a realtor for Coldwell Banker in Batavia. For a time later, he also operated his own computer consulting firm and was simultaneously working a bouncer at the LaFiesta Restaurant, Aurora.For a number of years, he operated his own contracting company, "Mickey and Company". In 1990 he moved the enterprise to Wisconsin where he could also enjoy his favorite hobby, fishing. In the late 90’s he began working for the Lac View Desert Casino where his outgoing nature enjoyed his other favorite hobby, people. Always looking toward the next adventure, Frank was making plans to retire soon and planning to see the great state of Alaska from a Winnebago motorhome. SURVIVORSHe is survived by his companion, Irene Radzius of Manitowish Waters, WI,two daughters: Alyce (Geart) Bakker of Montgomery, IL andAmanda Miklos of Oswego, IL;one son, Jeffrey Miklos of Aurora, IL:seven grandchildren:Sarah, Siebren, Yfke, Marijke, Jamiqua, Katrina, Froukje Bakker and Corry Loftus;one sister, Ruth (Michael) Notarus of Highland, CA andRose (Hank) Harders of Antioch, IL,as well as several nieces and nephews. PRECEDEDHe is preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife, Mary Jane (Geary).FRANK T. VISITATION AND FUNERAL SERVICESVisitation will be held Saturday, January 10, 2004 at Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn, IL from 4-8pm with funeral services at 8pm. The Rev. Steve Adams of the Calvary Church, Naperville, IL will officiate.

Following cremation, private committal services will later be held.
