NAME Justin Tyler, age 27, of Elburn, suddenly passed from this life to the next unexpectedly on Friday May 18, 2012 at his home. BORN: Justin was born July 30, 1984 in Beloit, WI the son of Richard and Laura (Kasel) Tyler. He was the second of three children. EARLY YEARS: Justin attended Stone Creek Elementary School in Roscoe, IL before his family moved to Elburn where he later attended Kaneland High School. As a child, Justin took part in local youth baseball, basketball, and soccer programs. EDUCATION: After graduating from Kaneland High School in 2002, Justin decided to further his education and began taking classes at Southern Illinois University (SIU) where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. OCCUPATION / WORK HISTORY:After returning from SIU Justin began working as a para-pro for Kaneland High School. For a short time he worked for a temp agency before being offered a position with Jimmy Johns. If you frequented any of the Jimmy Johns in the St. Charles or Geneva area, you may have come across his friendly smile. LIFE NOTES: Justin’s love for sports as a kid continued on later in life. He had a special place in his heart for his beloved Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bulls and Green Bay Packers. There was also a special interest in cars and bikes. As a young man Justin took on a job with McDonald’s so he could purchase his first bike for moto-cross racing. One of his biggest moments was when he "table topped" and crashed. When asked how he was, he answered "sore, but did it look cool?" Justin found himself on many camping trips with his family. He frequented Shabbona Lake or Minocqua Lake searching for the fish "on the bite." Justin was a kind hearted spirit who was always willing to extend a helping hand to people. He really cared about helping those who needed it most, especially those with special needs, aspiring to someday become a counselor. The care he had for his family surpassed all others and he was especially close to his sisters Sarah and Melanie. Although Justin’s time with us was short lived, his good deeds and memories will live on forever. SURVIVORS: His father Richard TylerTwo sisters Sarah and Melanie Tyler. VISITATION / FUNERAL Visitation will be held from 4-6:45pm with a funeral service celebrating Justin’s life to follow at 7:00pm Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St. Elburn. Fr. Karl Ganss, pastor of St. Gall Catholic Church, will officiate. MEMORIAL A memorial has been established in Justin’s name to benefit the Lazarus House: Checks may be made to the "Lazarus House" and mailed in care of the Tyler Family P.O. Box 66, Elburn, IL 60119.
