Marcella “Marcie” Turk, age 97, passed away in the early morning hours of Monday, March 18, 2019 and now claims the promise of her Savior. She was born August 30, 1921, in Bird Island, MN, to proud parents, Anthony and Susan (Deutsch) Heyob. Marcie’s family moved from MN to Virgil, when she was only a year old. There she attended local schools and graduated from Mt. Saint Mary in St. Charles with the class of 1939. She lived and worked as a nanny throughout her high school career, so not only did she receive her diploma, but established a strong work ethic as well. She was born on December 19, 1937, in Aurora, IL, to proud parents, William and Anna (Medernach) Hanson. Marge grew up in Virgil Township on the family farm and attended local schools. She graduated from Maple Park High School with the class of 1955. Floyd Worden found the love of his life at a car hop, in Sycamore. Marge was introduced by a mutual friend and that was all the help they needed to begin a lifelong love affair. They were united in marriage on December 31, 1955 at the justice of the peace. She was born August 24, 1950, in Geneva, IL, to proud parents, Virgil and Margaret (Miller) Stonecipher. Deb’s mom passed away tragically when she was only thirteen months old, and Virgil found a mother and partner in Clara Stonecipher for his three children.
