Alan “Smokey” Kloskowski, age 84 of Elburn, previously of Elmhurst and Christmas, MI passed away quietly into the arms of his Savior, at home, surrounded by the love and prayers of his family in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 31, 2019. He was born September 29, 1934 in Chicago to proud parents Adam and Helen Kloskowski. Smokey grew up in Chicago and attended Lane Tech High School. He graduated with the class of 1952. Before he received his diploma Smokey received a National Foundry Award for a fire place grate that is still used today. Following high school he began a five year apprenticeship learning how to make patterns. After his apprenticeship he worked at Sarcol Incorporated in Chicago. Smokey worked his way up in the company until he became owner in 1985. Smokey met the love of his life, Carol, in 1955. They married the following year. They began their new life together in Elmwood Park before eventually settling in Elmhurst to raise seven children. ...

Terrence Alan “Terry” Murray, age 57, of Aurora, IL, passed away in the evening of August 25, 2019, surrounded by the love of his friends and family. He was born on September 1, 1961, in Winfield, IL, to proud parents, John Patrick Murray III and Wanda Murray. Terry graduated from East Aurora High School in 1979. After high school, he attended Waubonsee Community College and received his Associates Degree. Terry loved the outdoors. He liked to go hiking, skiing, canoeing, and birding. He also liked to explore caves as a member of the National Speleological Society (Windy City Grotto.) Terry especially liked birding and became expert in bird songs and the identification of birds. She was born December 30, 1941 in Aurora to proud parents, Frank and Cecilia (Medernach) Probst. Her early years began in Sugar Grove before moving to the family farm in Virgil and graduated from Kaneland High School with the class of 1960. Shirley was married early in life, but their paths diverged which led her to the love of her life, Paul White. Their families were farmers and neighbors but it wasn’t until a midnight bowling banquet brought them together for the first time.
