Date of Death

Andrea Paraskevia Lubov Andres, age 39, finally found rest in the arms of her Savior, following a fierce battle with cancer. Surrounded with the love and prayers of her family, Andrea passed into Eternal Life on Thursday, September 9, 2021.

She was born June 22, 1982, in Chicago, IL, to proud and loving parents, Rev. Mykhailo and Oksana (Kocur) Kuzma.

Andrea grew up in Chicago for a time before the family moved to Mishawaka, IN. They moved back to Illinois and settled in Palatine, where she graduated from The Willows Academy in Des Plaines, IL.

Andrea continued her education at Dominican University in River Forest, IL where she majored in elementary education and psychology. She graduated in 2004.

Andrea found the love of her life on the dance floor at her high school prom, though he wasn’t her date. Ron Andres swept her off her feet and eventually walked her down the aisle on July 7, 2006. They began their new life together in Oswego, IL, then Plano, but found their home in Bristol in 2016.

Andrea’s life’s work was caring for others, especially children. At first she worked as a teacher but within a year of marriage, Andrea brought her first son into the world.  She decided to nanny from home to be there for her children as well. 100% of her heart was put into each and every task, and into every family who entrusted their children into her care. Her character and integrity were second to none. When it came to start her own family, Andrea relished the chance to devote herself to her own children. Outdoors and into the sunshine is where she always liked to be and often put on her running shoes to chase the horizon before returning home, winded but exhilarated.

She is survived by her loving husband Ron Andres; four children: Daniel “Danny”, Lilah, Miles and Oliver “Ollie” Andres; her parents, Rev. Mykhailo and Oksana Kuzma; five siblings: Olena (Andrew) Tefft, Yosyf “Joe” (Tina Grieco) Kuzma, Yuriy (Anna) Kuzma, Maria Kuzma and Anna Kuzma; her paternal grandmother, Luba Kuzma; maternal grandmother, Paraskevia Kocur; her very best friend, Heather Kocur; many other aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins and supportive friends.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Annabelle Lucille Andres; paternal grandfather, Rev. Stephan Kuzma, her maternal grandfather, John Kocur and one uncle, Rev. Bohdan Kocur.
