Annette was also a member of the Sunset Swingers where she socialized and played cards for many years. LIFENOTES: Annette’s passion was her family and her faith. Being a mother of ten children, she had a special gift for managing all the details and the indomitable spirit to see them through. Her skills in the kitchen were second to none and no one left the table wanting more. There were always pies, cookies and cakes, canned vegetables and fruit which filled the shelves and everything was not only homemade, but made from scratch. Annette also handmade one of a kind quilts for her family that will be passed on for generations to come. Though small in stature, no one could match her strength of will when it came speaking her mind and correcting the "wrongs’ that she saw along her life’s journey. Annette also loved to travel extensively to visit family as well as social trips with the senior citizen groups throughout the United States and abroad. Annette loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor that she shared with everyone she met. The footprints of her love and friendship can be found on many paths, but the most treasured will be the ones left on the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
