Carol "Joann" Louma of Las Vegas, formerly of Sycamore passed away September 25, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV. She was born on August 20, 1933 in Louisville, IL the daughter of Albert Eugene and Golda Fern (Baker) Bellinger. She grew up in DeKalb and attended local schools. Joann was only 16 when she met Martin Luoma, but she fell head over heels in love and they were married on Oct 8, 1949. No matter what state they were in, Illinois, California, or LasVegas, they were always at home as long as they were together. After 50 years of marriage Carol lost her beloved Martin on April 9, 2000. She is survived by one brother Larry Bellinger of DeKalb and his daugher Tina. One very special cousin Noel Baker Jr., of Las Vegas, who took care of her the last few years as her health was failing. Several cousins and many friends, over several states.She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Martin and her parents.A graveside service will be held on Monday Oct 1, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Fairview Cemetery, 1600 S.
