CLARENCE ROBERT "Tres" JANECEK III, age 45, died tragically as a victim of an accident in the early morning hours of Tuesday, March 11, 2014 near DeKalb, IL. Tres was born to life on December 13th 1968, the son of Clarence and Darlene Janecek. Tres grew up in Clarendon Hills where he attended local schools, graduating with the Kaneland High School class of 1987. In his younger years Tres was a child who loved any kind of outdoor sport. He enjoyed water skiing, snowmobiling, snow skiing and boating. He loved playing little league baseball and football. The Pittsburgh Steelers was a family favorite as his grandfather, Clarence Janacek Sr. was on the roster in the 1930’s. Watching NASCAR on TV was a fond pastime of Tres. His favorite memories were of trips to the cabin in Cable, WI, and rolling skating with his family. Tres was united in marriage to Jori Blackwell in 1992, and they welcomed home a son Clarence Robert, also known as C.R. and settled into a home he built in St. Charles. He was lucky in love a second time when he met and married Angela Langenour in 2001. Tres and Angela were blessed with a daughter, Caliee Jo that same year. Eventually, Tres and Angela went their separate ways, but the love he had for his children never changed. Tres was put his strong hands to work as a carpenter. He worked for many years as a self-employed carpentry contractor. He owned his own company called T’s Construction. There was no job that was too big or small for Tres, he took on any job that came his way. MEMBERSHIPS: Tres was a proud member of the Lincoln Highway 4-H club for many years. Tres was a fan of all different genres of music but his favorite was country. He loved to turn up the radio and belt out a tune when the time was right, but especially when it was Waylon Jennings or if he was in a rock and roll kind of mood, Boston or Foreigner. He was a man who loved to laugh, enjoying comedy shows featuring Ron White, Larry The Cable Guy and Jeff Foxworthy. His favorite movies, hands down, were Caddy Shack and Airplane! He had a strong handshake but an even bigger heart. Tres also liked to travel and made many memories as the miles ticked by to destinations such as Cancun and Acapulco Mexico, as well as Texas and Missouri. Tres is survived by his parents Clarence and Darlene Janecek;His children, Clarence Robert (C.R.) and Caliee Jo Janecek;Two brothers:Todd Janacek and Ted (Ann) Janacek and their children, Emily, Marisa, and Brandon;Many cousins and a family of friends. PRECEDED: He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Clarence and Marie Janecek and maternal grandparents, George and Josephine Nemec. Arrangements include a memorial visitation from 2-5 p.m., Saturday, March 22, with a service to follow at 5 p.m., all at Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn, IL. Private family burial will follow cremation at a later date.In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Tres’ name to benefit his favorite charities.
