Donna L. Lorenzage 55 of McLeansboro, IL, formerly of Kaneville, passed away July 13, 2006after a long battle with declining health and cancer. BORN / EARLY YEARSShe was born January 28, 1951 in Geneva, IL. Her parents, Ralph and Alice (Larson) Bohn, made their home in Kaneville where Donna grew up with her two brothers, George and William. EDUCATIONShe attended Kaneland Schools and made her home in the Kaneville area until recent years when she moved to McLeansboro, IL. OCCUPATION / WORK HISTORY Through the years, Donna worked locally in a number of places where she was a familiar face to classmates and friends in the community. For a time she also operated her own video and computer store in Kaneville and drove the school bus for the Kaneland District. LIFE NOTES Donna loved animals and children and was a natural magnet for both. She could talk to anyone about almost anything from technology to politics and enjoyed a good argument. Many an unsuspecting opponent, found themselves rapidly overwhelmed by Donna’s logic, backed with her encyclopedic memory.SURVIVORS She is survived by her brother, George (Elaine) Bohn of Highland, California,one niece, Jennifer Bohn and several cousins. PRECEDED Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Robert,her parents Alice and Ralph Bohn and one brother, Williamand one niece Karrie BohnVISITATION / FUNERAL Following cremation, private graveside services were held at River Hills Cemetery, Batavia where Donna was laid to rest with her parents and brother, William. MEMORIAL A memorial has been established in Donna’s name to benefit the Kaneville United Methodist Church. Memorials checks may be made to the church and mailed in care of P.O.
