FRANCES B. CESARIOAge 82 of Elburn, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, October 11, 2007 at the Marian Joy Rehabilitation Hospital where she had recently been receiving dialysis treatments.BORN / EARLY YEARSShe was born July 4, 1925 in Grand Rapids, MI, the daughter of Philip and Rosalia (Nicolosi) Rincione. Frances grew up in Grand Rapids where she graduated from Godwin High School.MARRIAGE & FAMILYShe and her sisters were fond of coming to Chicago to visit their aunt and, on one of those visits, Frances chanced to meet a young sailor, just back from the War. His name was James Cesario and that first date blossomed into matrimony on October 11, 1952. It was a blessed date on that day, and would become blessed in another way, fifty-five years later when Frances passed from this life to life Eternal. They made their home in Chicago where they were blessed with two sons, James and Albert.A few years later they moved to Wheeling, IL where Mark and John were born. There, Jim and Fran worshipped just down the street at St. Joseph the Worker Church. Returning to the city, a life-long vocation began as James started working in the Pizza business with his brothers-in-law. In 1960, he opened his own place at Belmont and California and before long they opened another location in the Austin district, Chicago. Life for Frances was a balancing act between business and family. At the shop, Jim made the pizza’s and Frances crafted the sandwiches. In 1970 they left the city and moved "Jim’s Pizza" to Geneva. Two years later, they settled in Elburn and in 1977 moved the business there as well. Through the years, no matter the location, Jim and Fran worked side-by-side and treated everyone like family. Fran’s sense of humor, coupled with Jim’s outgoing nature made everyone feel at home. All the while, four small boys grew up behind Fran’s apron strings. There was no time for fooling and they learned that mom’s "no" meant "no"! They also learned that their parents love was real and unconditional. Each of the boys would carry on their parents faith and work ethic in their own lives. Their individual success and happiness in life became Frances’ greatest joy. In 1993 Jim and Frances sold the Pizza business and retired to winters in New Mexico. Ironically, just down the street they found St. Joseph on the Rio Grand, the same name-sake church that had been their faith home in Wheeling. As "snow birds", Jim and Fran would return to Elburn and to St. Gall Church, each Spring and life continued on South Main as it always had. Recently, as ill health plagued Frances, they left New Mexico behind and returned to living year-round in Elburn. SURVIVORS In addition to her husband JimThree sons: James (Margy) Cesario of Augusta, GA,Mark (Lisa) Cesario of Aptos, CA,John (Linda) Cesario of Aurora, IL;Five Grandchildren: Jay’s: Matthew (25)Mark’s: Michaela (22) and Nathaniel (18)John’s: Robert (17) and David (14)Two Great grandchildren: Matthew’s: Sophia (2) and Vincent (6mo.).Siblings: Nancy (Clinton) Williams of San Diego, CA, Jenny (George) Streeter of Elkhart, IN,Rosie Webber of Reno, NVGeri (Ronald) Lockman of Alto, MI;Many nieces and nephews.Sisters-in-law: Sister Mary Carman, O.P. of Springfield, IL andJoanne Cesario of Peoria, AZ.PRECEDED She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Albert, Two sisters: Beatrice Folkersma andJosephine Rincione;And one brother Ernest in infancy.Three sisters-in-law:Carolyn Cesario,Vivian Zamiar andRosanne Cesario.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 15, 2007 at Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn from 4-8pm. Rosary prayers will be held at 4:30 pm with a wake service to conclude visitation at 8pm. Her funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30am with interment to follow at St. Gall Cemetery, Elburn. The Rev. Fr. Karl Ganss will officiate.
