NAME Grace Elizabeth Isham, Passed from this life to eternal life in the afternoon hours of April 26, 2006, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. She was born December 12, 2005, at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva.. Though she was destined to be surrounded by the love of her family and friends for only five short months, the love and joy she gave to her parents and others could fill a lifetime. Grace left "footprints" on the lives she touched. Those footprints, indelibly etched into the hearts and minds of all who knew her, will live on forever. LIFE NOTES Grace loved books, especially those read to her while sitting comfortably in a lap. When left to her own devices, a mobile was her choice, and her determination made playtime last for hours. Grace’s most precious gift was her smile and she gave it to anyone she saw. When she spoke, it was always punctuated with a "scream of joy" that continues to echo through the many memories shared by her family. For some unknown reason, Grace left this world for another and although we have no answers, her life was not lived in vain, for those who touch the hearts of others will never be forgotten.
