HADESSA "Hadi" A.P. FLORA Age 17, of Batavia, IL, died suddenly, Thursday, October 26, 2006 of injuries sustained in an auto accident. Gone from sight but so very much alive in the hearts of hundreds, it could be said that Hadi didn’t die, she just "graduated" early to Eternity. From the time she could run into her parents arms, she would, at the last moment, turn and fall back into them. Secure and safe in their love, she came to know that same security and love in Christ. Running through life on her last day, loved ones know that she surely turned at the last moment and fell backwards into the arms of her Savior, secure forever in the same love that she knew her entire lifetime. She was born, October 3, 1989, in St. Charles, IL and grew up in Batavia. In her Middle School years, she set her heart on attending Wheaton Academy and worked hard to achieve her dream. Her prayers were answered and she was passionate about the school and about making the soccer team. Again with prayers, hard work and hours of practice with her dad, she became a starter and quickly earned the respect of her competitors. Hadi was a top student who also excelled at math and science -and fun.She loved her life, her family and boys! The model to whom she compared them was her brother, Lucas. It was his Batavia Bulldog jersey she wore proudly all over Wheaton and beyond. Parties and friends abounded at the Flora home and many others but no matter where she went, her parents knew Hadi could hold her own against the temptations of life. No matter where her days took her, homecoming was almost always he same. Bursting into her parents room she would collapse crazily on their bed and babble on and on about her crazy life; her wonderful, always hopeful, awesome life. MEMBERSHIPSHadi will be remembered for the countless ways she touched the lives of others: at school, at church at Rock River Christian Camp, at Barnes and Noble, on the soccer field and in circles of friends far and wide.
