Howard Charles Mount, 80, passed away Friday October 3rd at home in Maple Park with his beloved wife Honey and children at his side. He was born August 11, 1928 in Nekoma, IL. the son of Claude and Myrtle Mount. A long time resident of North Aurora, Il., Howard graduated from West Aurora High School in 1946 after which he spent two years in the Navy. Upon returning home he married Jeanette Mae Benson and had three children. He continued his education at Aurora University (BA) and Northern Illinois University (MBA). He was a long time employee of Northern Illinois Gas Company in Aurora and Duff and Phelps in Chicago. After retirement he continued to work at the Old Second National Bank of Aurora. Howard was very active in his church Christ Community of St. Charles as greeters. United in marriage to Mary Louise "Honey" on April 21st in the year of "not long enough", Howard spent the last two decades of his life with the one person he said completed him. She was the love of his life. Howard is survived by his wife Mary Louise "Honey " Mount, A sister Joanne Guzman (Robert) of Yorkville, Six children:Scott Howard Mount of Rockford, Kristine Ann Evans of Lake in the Hills, Jan Celeste Moyers of Aurora, Andrew Wendt of Fisher, In., Lisa Rittenburg of Batavia and Tim Shulske of Elgin; 15 Grandchildren, 10 Great grand children and 2 expected births. Howard was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Myrtle and his brother Keith.
