Jason Harley Hauser began life with his brother and sister, Justin and Betse. Awaiting their birth into our world, they grew in the loving warmth of their mother’s womb. They played and sometimes fought, or so their mother thought, as arms and legs could be seen and felt, poking mom in the ribs and making daddy smile to see the evidence of their antics. It was late October when things began to change. Jason, the feisty one, the teaser, the "athlectic one" seemed to stop growing. The ultrasound pictures that brought such joy, now gave reason for concern. What happened in those last few weeks and why, is something that remain’s a secret. Something only Jason and God know about. Sometime, a day or two before the fourteenth of November, Jason slipped away from his mom, his brother and sister and daddy. He left behind his little "teddy-bear-size" body, his one-of-a-kind signature, to say that "Jason Harley Hauser was here".; just to let every one know that he really was a little boy; that his siblings really did have a brother and his mommy and daddy really did have another son; that grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and a family of friends, did not hope in vain. Jason went home to heaven that day, to the company of his maternal grandparents, Beda and Modesto Villanueva, his paternal great grandparents, Noel and Hazel Baker and his paternal great grandfather, Herbert Hauser. In this world, he leaves his mommy and daddy, Gracie and David Hauser, his twin brother, Justin Noel Herbert Hauser and twin sister, Betse Joy Hauser; his two big sisters, Tiffany and Jessica Breyne, paternal grandparents, Steve and Janet Hauser, uncle Brian Hauser, aunt Laura & Uncle Mike Harmon and his cousins, Donnie & Joshua Harmon, as well as his paternal great grandmother, Eleanor Hauser. In addition, Jason left a note, a powerful message. Written on the hearts of all, an indelible timeless message, signed with God’s hand gently guiding his own, Jason wrote, "I love you". With tearful eyes, Jason’s family and friends have written back, "We love you too!" and with God’s hand on their lives, they will continue to keep Jason’s memory in their midst and his love alive in their hearts.

A service to celebrate the life and love of Jason Harley Hauser, was held Saturday, November 23, 2002 at Conley Funeral Home, Elburn, IL.
