JOANNE KLEINOW, age 85, of St. Charles, passed away quietly into the arms of her Savior, in the early morning hours of Sunday, September 13, 2015, surrounded by the love and prayers of her family. She is now reunited with her loving husband who passed less than a year ago.
Joanne had a musician’s heart and a pianist hands and the music she made settled your soul. She shared her gift with other parishioners as an active and faithful member of the Wasco Baptist Church. Her family was the most important thing in her life and she showed a part of her appreciation through her amazing cooking. Name anything and she could make a version that bested the most celebrated in the nation. The family’s summer home in Gull Lake, MI, brought thousands of her favorite memories of family, love and laughter. Joanne never met a stranger and leaves many friends in addition to her family who will miss her greatly and never forget the legacy of love that she left.
She is survived by four children: Jack Kleinow, Cheri (Richard) Geigert, Bob Kleinow and James (Barb) Kleinow; 7 grandchildren: Jacklyn (Robert) Gallegos, Jennifer, Jamie, and Janell Kleinow and Anna Mae Kleinow, Jodie (Josh) Garber and Tom Geigert; three great-grandchil dren: Gabriel Garber, Lily Garber and Aidyn Kleinow; one brother, Donald (Winnie) Hescott and one sister-in-law, Bette Jordan.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Genevieve (Overmyer) Hescott, her loving husband John “Jack” Kleinow, one brother Jerry Hescott.

Private family services have already been held.
