LIFE NOTES John lived in the same home he grew up in and tended to the fields of his youth for his whole life. His farm lands were located in the heart of Plato Center, surrounded by the community he dearly cherished, and anchored by the Plato Center Methodist Church where he shared his faith. During his journey he gathered hundreds of memories which he passed on to friends, neighbors, and generations of his family. He loved to share stories of storms and pony rides to Elburn, shared labors and his domination of family basketball games of HORSE, where his patented two hand shots reigned supreme. John loved his family and celebrated his blessings. High school and family reunions will never be the same and though his memory is wound around the tales of yesterday, he will surely be bound in the hearts of his family and friends for a generation of tomorrows.
