KIMBERLY "Kim" KAYLYNN BEAZLEY, age 18, of DeKalb, IL, passed from this life in an instant on Monday, May 7, 2012. Kim is now free from the trials and pain of this life but her soul lives on with the hope of finding her place in the next one. BORN: She was born July 24, 1993, in DeKalb, IL, the daughter of Patrick Martin and Deborah Lynn (Isely) Beazley.EARLY YEARS : Kim grew up in Sycamore, IL., she was Christened and made her First Communion at St. Mary’s Church in Sycamore. She attended St. Mary’s School where she participated in Cheerleading, Basketball, and Cross Country. Kim also spent ten years racing up and down the field for AYSO Soccer, a "career" that included one undefeated season. Kim also made her debut in the school musical "Fe Fi Fo Fum". After eighth grade, she then made the move to Sycamore High School where she was in the Madrigals, and followed her passions in the Sci-Fi Club, even helping to design their own special club t-shirt. That same club always looked forward to their annual trip to Medieval Times. Kim rounded out her high school education by attending the Kishwaukee Education Consortium (KEC), where she took aviation classes during her junior and senior year. She proudly graduated with her class on May 29th, 2011.RESIDENTIAL HISTORY: Kim held an independent spirit but kept an eye on her community by volunteering her time and heart to different local organizations. Soon after graduation, Kim began a new chapter in her life, living on her own terms ready to experience the world. LIFE NOTES Kim had an artist’s eye and crafter’s hands and was known for her distinctive drawings, she had a fondness for Japanese anime drawings. She enjoyed trips with her mom, taking cruises from the Caribbean to Mexico. With each port of call, no matter how different, Kim adapted and found a home with the ease of a world traveler beyond her years. She experienced tent camping for "just the girls" in both the wilderness and parks in Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri. The South Side Irish Parade was a yearly destination where she got to celebrate her heritage. Kim was a person all her own and set her own style that showcased her uniqueness. From her clothes to music, there was absolutely no one like Kim. Children and animals of all sizes were drawn to her tender and caring heart, making lasting friendships in an instant. Kim’s compassion extended to the elderly whom she befriended just as easily. In recent years, Kim struggled within herself, trying to find that measure of peace and joy that had kept eluding her. For all the love and help she gave to others, there was something inside that made it difficult to accept help from family and friends. In one dark moment, she made the final decision to leave not only all her pain, but also all those who loved and cherished her. Although it forever altered those who were lucky enough to know her, it will never change the thousands of memories ringing with laughter and smiles that forever made her special. SURVIVORS She is survived by her mother, Deborah L. Beazley, Her maternal grandmother, Linda L. Isely, Paternal grandparents, Robert and Catherine Beazley, Many aunts, uncles, cousins and a circle of close friends that will never forget her. PRECEDED She is preceded in death by her father, Patrick M. Beazley, maternal grandfather, Donald E. Isely, and her special cat, Stormy. VISITATION / FUNERAL Visitation will be from 9-11:30 a.m., Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn, IL. A funeral service to celebrate her life will follow visitation at 12 noon with interment to follow at Ohio Grove Cemetery, Sycamore, IL. MEMORIAL In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in their name to benefit her favorite charities. Checks may be made to the "Kim Beazley Memorial" and mailed in care to P.O.
