NAME Margaret Rose (Maercker) Schoo, age 65, of Hinckley, IL, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2004.BORN She was born November 13, 1938 the daughter of Charles ad Julia (Austin) Maercker in Sugar Grove, IL. EARLY YEARS Margaret grew up in Maple Park and attended local schools. MARRIAGE Margaret was united in marriage to James R. Schoo in 1956.LIFE NOTES She was a master flower gardener spending hours in her yard. When she wasn’t gardening, she loved sewing presents for her grandchildren to be given on Christmas. Though her sewing was second to none, her baking skills were renown for other reasons as she embarked on her lifelong quest for the perfect Christmas Cookie. She also experimented with non-traditional combinations of ingredients that yielded one of a kind creations. Margaret also was an avid shopper with an eye for anything on sale.SURVIVORS – She leaves now her loving husband James;FOUR CHILDREN: Ron (Barb) Schoo and their children: Molly, Ben, Andrew, Anna, and Elliot of New-Ulm, MN; Teri (Steve) Zbinden and their children Nicole, Sarah, and Steven of DeKalb, IL; Jay (Patti) Schoo and their children: Lyndsee, David and Emily of Cortland, IL; Rodger (Stacy) Schoo and their children: Carmen and Nora of DeKalb, IL;TWO GREAT-GRANDSONS: Alexander and Logan;ONE BROTHER: Art (Donna) Maercker of Maple Park, ILONE SISTER: Kathryn (David) Hunt of Rutherford, NC;And many nieces and nephews.PRECEDED She joins now her parents and Karren Maercker who preceded her in deMEMORIALS Memorials in her memory may be made in her name and mailed in care of P.O. Interment will follow at Gardner Cemetery in Maple Park.
