Nanci Ann Policht, age 60, of Campton Hills, IL, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday evening, January 22, 2018. She woke to a celestial morning surrounded by the love of her Savior. She was born April 7, 1957, in Chicago, IL, to proud parents, Frank and Katherine (Klco) Policht.. Nanci grew up in Chicago and attended local schools. She graduated with the class of 1974 at Resurrection High School. Nanci continued her education at University of Illinois at Chicago where she studied Criminal Justice. Nancy received her diploma in 1978 and began working various accounting jobs in the local area. In the mid 1980’s, Nanci found work at Hesco, where she continued to work in the accounting department. In 1995, she moved with her sister, Patti, to Campton Hills, making memories with her sister to last a lifetime. Nanci and her Patti loved to garden both flowers and vegetables, the harvest changing with the season. Her hands kept busy sewing just about anything but her time in the kitchen brought about the mouthwatering aromas. Her traditional Polish heritage shown through every dish and nobody left the table hungry. Nanci was always interested in her horoscope but nothing compared to the love she had for her family. She was a babysitter extraordinaire and the best aunt anyone could ask for. She will always be remembered for her kind and compassionate heart and an infectious smile that was mirrored by anyone she met. She will be sorely missed and never forgotten. She is survived by three siblings: Sandy (Thomas) Castronova, Bruce (Elvira) Policht and Patti Policht; many nieces and nephews including, Mike (Julie) Castronova and their daughter, Mia; Jim Castronova, Tony Castronova, Kyle Castronova, Krystle (Carl) Schwartz, their daughter Emmy and Frank (Stephanie) Policht. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Katherine Policht. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., with a wake service at 8 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2018, at Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn, 60119. Visitation will resume Saturday, January 27, from 9:9:45 a.m., also at the funeral home, before a processing to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 6N491 Crane Rd, St. Charles, IL 60175. A mass to celebrate her faith will begin at 10:30 a.m., with interment to follow.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., with a wake service at 8 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2018, at Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn, 60119. Visitation will resume Saturday, January 27, from 9:9:45 a.m., also at the funeral home.

An Interment will be at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles at 1:00pm.
