Paul Brian Feldott, age 40 of Hinckley, passed away early Friday morning at Rockford Memorial Hospital. He was born August 21, 1966 in Geneva, IL, the son of Lawrence G. and Joan E. (Lind) Feldott. The family made their home in Sugar Grove, IL where Paul seemed to make it his mission to disassemble every bicycle, every mechanical device his family owned. Ironically, he would grow up to be a man devoted to restoring vintage vehicles. His pride and joy was his 1970 Chevy Nova which he restored in memory of his brother, Steven. It was a pride shared by his son Cory with whom Paul was just beginning to tackle another Chevy Nova (1975). Growing up in Sugar Grove, Paul attended Kaneland and Hinckley schools but got his first job at West Aurora High School where he met Lorianne Sharp in her senior year at West. In 1987, they were blessed with their first child, Julie and in 1990 Cory was born. That year too, they decided to make their marriage official and exchanged vows on February 16, 1990. They lived for a few years in Aurora and in 1994 moved to their present home in Hinckley. Paul worked as a diesel mechanic, keeping trucks on the road for Dart Container Corporation. On his own time, Paul much preferred "off roading" with his dirt bike in summer and his snow mobile in winter. When it came to fixing-up and topping out his vehicles, Paul was an avowed "e-Bay Junkie". Through the years, he also loved computer games, from the early Sega and Nintendo games to Playstation II and his favorite on-line game – Command and Conquer. Spring and summer meant car shows and drag strips as well as softball competition as Paul played on the Dart Container team.
