Sharon “Annette” Lutz , age 63, of Maple Park, IL, formerly of St. Charles and Anna, IL, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, November 17, 2015.
She was born December 15, 1951, the daughter of George and Annie (Treece) Earnhart, in Anna, IL.
Annette grew up in Anna, IL and attended local schools. She graduated from and was a proud wildcat at Anna-Jonesboro High School in 1970.
Annette was united in marriage to Robert Lutz in Union County, IL, on July 3, 1975, though later in life their paths diverged following a divorce.
Annette and Robert began their new life together in her hometown of Anna where Annette worked at Transcraft for many years. Their family grew quickly to include two daughters, Robin, in 1976 and Wendy, in 1977. The home soon filled with love and memories that will never be forgotten.
Annette went back to school at Shawnee Community College where she graduated with a focus on medical transcription. The family moved north to St. Charles in May of 1989 where Annette worked as an intern at Delnor Hospital and later hired as a medical transcriptionist. She made many friends and relationships bloomed while she worked there for the next 23 years. Most recently, Annette worked at Fox Valley Orthopedics, verifying insurance.
For Annette, family always came first. She had a strong work ethic and her faith was her foundation. She made sure her family wanted for nothing and would go without herself if it meant that she could bring a little more sunshine into their lives. Annette’s hands were rarely still and always beautiful as she took grandkids out to spoil them, (as well as to get her nails done.) They gracefully moved across the piano as well, making melodies sing of her faith and in honor of her Lord and Savior. Annette left too soon, but not before making her mark on the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will forever be missed.
She is survived by her two daughters: Robin (Kenneth) Johnston and Wendy (Matthew) Byars; Three grandchildren: Kendall Johnston, Megan Danielson, and Morgan Byars; One niece Cheryl (Scott) Rhine; two great-nieces: Jessica (Ben) Wills and Natalie Gee, extended family and a community of friends in both northern and southern Illinois.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Annie Earnhart and one sister, Barbara (Kent) Jones.

The family requests that no flowers be sent for the services at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, and asks that memorials only be given. Flowers will be accepted at the services in Anna, IL, at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Annette’s name to benefit her favorite charities.
