He was born April 15, 1962, in Flora, IL, to proud parents, Charles and Claudia (Kessler) King.
Tony grew up in Elburn and attended local schools. He graduated from St. Charles High School with the class of 1982.
Tony found work at a restaurant in Geneva for time before working for a painting company. Later he returned to restaurant work but ultimately found his home at Rapid Pac in St. Charles.
Tony enjoyed hunting with his step-father Joe and nephew Zach in Southern Illinois where the population of rabbits, squirrels, pheasants in Ingraham, IL were put on notice. A family home in New Tazewell, TN where he fished to his heart’s content was also a favorite destination. Tony was a collector at heart and loved to play video games of all kinds from all eras and collected their manuals. A collection of whiskey bottles held a space in his heart and home along with McDonald’s toys, baseball cards and a massive amount of Pez. He was also a collector of friendships and was quick to extend a helping hand. He was a favorite among his nieces and nephews and will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his loving mother, Claudia Tremaine; his father, Charles King; one brother, Mark King; niece and nephew: Dianna (Lonnie) Sims and Zachary King; six great-nieces and nephews: Lonnie, Nakeisha, Jarell, Dasante, Antije, and Scarlett.
