VIVIAN ADAMIAN, Age 60 of Elburn, IL passed away early Saturday morning, July 29, 2006 at her home. She was born January 12, 1946 in Cairo, Egypt the daughter of Melkon and Eugenie (Adam) Tazbaz.In 1963, Vivian became a U.S. citizen and immigrated to the United States with her brother Antoine and settled in Chicago, IL where Vivian worked as a seamstress for Hart-Marx Clothiers. In the years that followed, other family members would follow in their footsteps.MARRIAGE & FAMILYWhile attending a family wedding in Michigan, Vivian met Michael Adamian. On July 4, 1970, the were themselves, united in marriage at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Chicago. The following year, they moved to Naperville, IL, soon after their daughter, Patti was born. Later, two brothers, Mark and Paul followed. In the 1980’s, Michael’s work took them to New Jersey where they made their home until the fall of 2004 when a "miracle" made it possible for them to return to Illinois. So that Vivian could spend the rest of her life near her loved ones. Just four months after their arrival, Vivian was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Having already become one of the longest surviving kidney transplant recipients, Vivian was confident she be a cancer survivor as well. As months of treatment came to pass, a determined Vivian passed many hours creating needlepoint gifts for her three grandchildren. Though cancer would claim her life, her loved ones will forever claim her memory and the many ways she wove her life into theirs. SURVIVORS She is survived by:Her Husband, Michael R. Mass scheduled for 3pm, Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at St. Gall Church, Elburn. A brief visitation period will also be held at church, prior to mass, from 2pm – 2:45pm. The Rev. Fr. Karl Ganss will officiate and interment will follow at St. Gall Cemetery, Elburn. MEMORIAL A memorial has been established in Vivian’s name.
