Payment Arrangements

The burden of grief that you shoulder is enough to bear without the worries that accompany the payment of services. Special care is taken while we work continuously with you, offering a wide array of thoughtful service and merchandise options to fit your particular financial needs. Emotional overspending, or connecting how much you pay to how much you loved, is closely monitored to make sure the choices you make are the right ones for you. The right time to make those choices often comes before you need to make them. By pre-arranging your services, you are not only allowing you and your family more time to make informed decisions, but you can change them in the future at any time, and take them with you anywhere.

Conley Family of Conley Funeral Service, Elburn, IL, founded Conley Outreach in 1983 as an extension of their service to the community. Today, Conley Outreach Community Services has grown from a small private counseling service to an organization recognized by the IRS as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public charity.

Advance Directives

Now more than ever, managing your health care means sharing your plans and wishes with those who might need to make decisions for you. We are prepared to provide you with advance directive information: Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care and a Living Will, as well as helping you to seek out appropriate medical/legal advice.

You don’t need to make all of your funeral arrangements or prepay anything, just to have some protection for your family. Our easy pre-registration program ensures that if something happens to you or a family member, Conley’s will be called, and your family will be notified thoughtfully and carefully. All we need are a few vital statistics and a list of whom to notify in the event of your death. No money. Very little time. A lot of peace of mind.

Now more than ever, managing your health care means sharing your plans and wishes with those who might need to make decisions for you.

Once pre-registration is completed, you may want to take it one step further and provide details on the actual services you desire. We thoughtfully help you prepare a true “Life Story,” rather than the usual obituary. A “Life Story” shares with family and friends alike, the many details that make each person unique and “one-of-a-kind.” We go into specifics on the type of service and any selections that you feel comfortable making at that time and provide an estimate of the costs up to that point. There is no cost to taking this extra step except a little more of your time.

Guaranteed Pre-Payment Plans

We are as concerned about your costs as you are. Good bereavement care at every level must be affordable both today and tomorrow. With our guaranteed pre-payment plans, you won’t need to worry. We have worked for years to develop healthy relationships with the best funeral funding programs. Our guaranteed payment plans range from lump sum, one-time payments to installment arrangements that stretch as much as a decade (yet still cover you fully if something should happen to you in the early years). For those who travel, we even have special plans to cover unexpected expenses that arise when death occurs away from home. ALL of our plans are fully flexible and portable, even transferable to another local or out of state firm, without losing a cent.

Public Aid Assistance

For many families today, the need for public aid assistance with long-term nursing care is not uncommon. We can help make the application process easier and we can shelter funds for final expenses so that there are no “surprises” in the future. In addition to educating ourselves on these matters, we also take steps to educate the general public. With the assistance of representatives from area public aid offices, we present periodic programs on public aid and its many facets.

Discounts and Savings at the Time of Service

Even if your loss came unexpectedly, or the constant care of your loved one prevented you from being able to take advantage of any pre-payment savings and guaranteed services, we understand. That is why we are one of the only funeral homes that does not ask for payment in full at the time of arrangements or services. We give you up to 30 days to put together your finances with a small percentage paid at the time of service to cover those monies that need to be paid in advance on your behalf. We also work with our friends at Lending USA. There is an online application (which can be done before, during, or after your arrangement conference). Just visit their website to get started. Lending USA can pay your funeral expenses immediately, giving you the flexibility to pay over time with a fixed APR (the maximum amount of credit available to you may vary and will depend on an approved credit application).
