Rose Marie (Turk) Neisendorf, age 86, passed away Saturday morning, May 13, 2017 at the DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center where she recently made her home.
She leaves behind her six children; Vicki Wood, Bob (Jane) Neisendorf, Barbara (Anil DeSilva) Neisendorf, Betsy (Mike Ehorn) Neisendorf, Joe Neisendorf and Pat Neisendorf, nine grandchildren; Dave Kinney, Sue Kinney, John Kinney, Katie (Dave) Anderson, Rachel (Richard) Snedecker, Grace Neisendorf, Sarah Leoni, Lisa (Christian) Leoni and Laura Neisendorf, two great grandchildren; Gabrielle Bogolin and Evan Conlon and two brothers; William “Bill” Turk and James “Jim” Turk.
Rose now joins her husband; John, parents; Henry and Marie (Stevens) Turk, and siblings; Henry “Hy,” Marion, Edwin “Bud,” John “Jack,” Eugene, Eugena “Jean,” and Eileen Suzanne “Sue.”
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of John and Rose’s lives with a visitation and mass on Saturday, June 10, 2017 all at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Virgil. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30am with mass beginning at 10:30am. Internment will follow at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation to a memorial in Rose’s name has been established at the DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center. Checks can be made out to the “Rose Neisendorf Memorial” and mailed to P.O. Box 66, Elburn, IL 60119.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center; their great staff and also Dr. Dhaval Thakker for providing excellent care during this difficult part of their mother’s life.

A memorial funeral mass will begin at 10:30am at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Virgil on Saturday, June 10, 2017.

A gathering of family and friends for both Rose and her husband, John will be from 9:30-10:30am at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Virgil on Saturday, June 10, 2017.

Following mass Rose and John will be buried at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.
