Ada Mary (Hunt)CastleAge 67 of Geneva, IL, formerly of Elk Grove Village, passed away peacefully, January 3, 2007, at Delnor Community Hospital where she had recently been admitted with pneumonia. BORN / EARLY YEARSShe was born May 26, 1939 in Danville, IL, the daughter of Richard Lloyd and Bessie Adelaide Castle.Following graduation from Danville High School in 1957, she went on to study music at Northwestern University from which she graduated with a degree in music education in 1961.She taught briefly in Joliet before moving to Barrington where she was a member of the Barrington Community Church for many years and directed the choir for a time. Moving to Elk Grove Village in 1969, she made her home there and continued to teach piano and flute as a private professional until 2002. Moving to New York briefly, she came to Geneva to make her home at Arden Court in 2004. LIFE NOTES Ada Mary loved cats and animals in general, all of her life. As a girl, she also showed horses and loved horseback riding. Though meticulous about life in general, classmates recall a thoughtful friend who, if she could not say something nice, chose to say nothing at all. Through "child-raising-years",another friend recalled with gratitude, the Ada Mary who enjoyed talking about something more dirty dishes and diapers!Over the years, and through her struggle with dementia, Ada Mary lost touch with many family and friends that her son and daughter are sure she missed and loved a great deal. They are thankful for all those who have thought and prayed for Ada Mary over the years. The family is also grateful for the loving care Ada Mary received from the The Esplanade, Arden Courts and Delnor Community Hospital.SURVIVORS She is survived by one daughter, Leanne (Steve) Gramley of Kaneville and their son Robert (8mo);And one son, Bradley (Tanya) Hunt of Irvington, NY and their sons: Benjamin (7) and Joshua (4);One brother, Richard (Donna) Castle of Cookville, TN andThree nephews: Russell, Arthur and Roger Castle.
