NAME Clarence Wisniewski, age 83, of Sugar Grove, IL, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening at Alden of Waterford, Montgomery, IL. BORN: He was born in Chicago on 8/28/23 the son of Joseph and Kate (Jurwiecz) WisniewskiEARLY YEARS :Clarence grew up in Chicago and attended local schools graduating with the class of 1942. MILITARY: Clarence enlisted right out of high school in the United States Army and served his country in European Theater of WWII. He returned to civilian life three years later and settled back in his hometown of Chicago for a time before moving to a family farm in Wisconsin. MARRIAGE It was here that he met the love of his life Elizabeth Schewer. They were united marriage in October of 1950. They began their new life back on the farm before moving down to the Chicago area. RESIDENTIAL HISTORY: They bought a home in Glen Ellyn where Clarence owned his own grocery store. Later, Clarence sold the store and purchased a bigger grocery store in Downers Grove before retiring, leaving him time to farm in Elburn. SURVIVORS He now joins his parents who preceded him in death. He now leaves his loving wife Betty Wisniewski, one daughter Linda Brinkman of Wisconsin and extended family and friends. PRECEDED He now joins his parents who preceded him in death.MEMORIAL In lieu of traditional flowers, plants would be appreciated and a memorial has been established in his name. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, April 1st, 2007 at Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn, IL. FUNERALA funeral service to celebrate his life will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Conley Funeral Home on Monday, April 2nd, 2007.

Interment will follow at Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darian, IL.
