NAME/ AGE Frances P. Rogalski, age 85, of Elburn, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2004, at Provena Pineview Care Center, St. Charles, IL. BORN She was born July 4, 1919, the daughter of Frank and Pauline (Przypasek) Nowak in Chicago, IL. CHILDHOOD Frances grew up in Chicago and attended Bowen High School and graduated with the class of 1937. Following graduation she worked various jobs including Pressed Steel on the south side of Chicago during WWII. MARRIED Frances met her husband on the south side and their courtship took them on almost every streetcar in Chicago and ended in holy matrimony at St. Florian Catholic Church in 1943. Casimir "Casey" Rogalski was a private first class in the United States Army at the time and shortly after their marriage returned to his base until he was discharged a year later. They began their new civilian life in the Chicago area for a time before moving to Lansing, IL in the early 1950’s. Thirty years later they picked up and moved their family to Carol Stream before settling in Elburn in 2000 where they have since made their home. LIFE NOTES Frances was a devoted mother who adored her daughter and loved her her husband dearly. Her most precious times were those spent with friends and family. SURVIVORS She now leaves her husband Casimir Rogalski and her daughter Karen Nickels, both of Elburn;Many nieces, nephews and a close family of friends. PRECEDED She now joins her parents, three brothers, and two sisters who preceded her in death. MEMORIALS Memorials may be made in her name and mailed to P.O. Box 66, Elburn, IL 60119.
VISITATION Friends may call at The Church of St. Gall, Elburn, from 10-11a.m., with a mass to celebrate her life to follow at 11a.m. Fr. Karl Ganss will officiate
interment will follow at Assumtion Cemetery, Winfield, IL.
