LIFE NOTES Jean had a creative heart that loved to express itself through flowers and many different types of crafts. When she wasn’t busy creating, her hands were busy playing bingo, Yahtzee and when Rummy was the name of the game, she couldn’t lay down her runs and straights fast enough. The kitchen became a haven of sweet smells that filled her home and made your mouth water. Her bread was a favorite but it never held a candle to her cheese cake and upside down cake. For dinners, no one will ever forget her famous and sometimes infamous "Hobo Casserole". She also loved to play the odds and feel the excitement every time she scratched off an instant ticket. It was the time she spent with family that was most treasured. The light shone in her eyes the brightest when her grandchildren and great-grandchildren stayed the weekend which were filled with rides on her "scooter" and trips to the Dollar Store. These memories and thousands more are the treasures she left behind. The mark of her love on the hearts of her family and friends will never fade.
