NAME PAUL M. EINWICH, age 52, of Sycamore, IL, passed away at his home in Montello, WI, on April 30, 2009.BORN: Paul was born on February 22, 1957 the son of George and Lorraine (Martin) Einwich in Aurora, IL. EARLY YEARS :He grew up in Wasco and attended local schools. EDUCATION: He graduated from St. Charles High School with the class of 1975. OCCUPATION / WORK HISTORY Following school, Paul began a career as a machinist working at several area manufacturers including DePaul Industry, Duke’s Fluid Power and AMS, all of St. Charles. Paul had a passion for his work which showed in his mastery of his trade. His perfectionist nature and pride in his work was handed down to him by his father who also worked in the same trade. Paul retired in February of 2006. MARRIAGE Paul met the love of his life, Donna Ekstrom in 1982 in his hometown of Wasco. Three years of love brought them to the altar in 1985. They made their home on Ramm Rd. in Maple Park making twenty years of memories as they raised their family. RESIDENTIAL HISTORY: In 1991, Paul and Donna bought a one room cottage in Montello, WI and the fever for a bigger home began to stir. It wouldn’t be until ten years later that they began to realize their dream by setting the first logs in the fall of 2001. After Paul retired and the children graduated from high school, they sold the house all moved into the dream home on the lake and made their dream a reality in 2006.MEMBERSHIPS Paul was faithful member of S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Virgil. LIFE NOTES Paul loved his time in the kitchen often making dinner of stir fry and his famous egg rolls after a long day at work. Outside the home, Paul’s favorite destination was the garage. It housed his prized radio belting out inning after inning of baseball on top of the sounds of tractors, machines and the sharpening of blades. This orchestra of noise was like music to his ears. Paul loved the five acres of land on which his home sat and happily spent hours on a tractor mowing the grass. On weekends, you could find no one happier than Paul and his family as they traveled to their cottage, and later their log house, in Montello. Paul had a special place in his heart for his mother and could often be found on the phone "checking in". It was that special bond which grew over time that made Paul first in line when a baby needed to be held and especially soothed. When it came to sports, Paul’s loyalties lied with his beloved Chicago White Sox, though in recent years he had adopted the Milwaukee Brewers in light of his new home in Wisconsin. Paul also had a thirst for knowledge and a quick intelligence that allowed him to speak in many different circles when it came to matters of the world. Paul was a gentle quiet and loving man who adored his wife and cherished his children and grandchildren. His memory and spirit will span generations leaving a mark that was uniquely his.
